INFORMATION KIOSK OF THE SUNWAY PYRAMID: Inside the mall, I have seen two types of information kiosk. One is hanging in front of the pillar and another is standing from the ground. Both of the info kiosks upper part is quite similar. From hanging position, it was very difficult to search something because of the information letters are so small. That’s why it is not legible to read, at the same time when you are searching something on the info board you have to look up for long time. So it’s very irritating. Another design of the information kiosk shape, position, height, color combination and design is very nice and clearly detailed. Although the letters are small, it is easy to look at, searching information, every levels mapping are also included. So I would like to say, it is well arranged. As we know that, well arrangement is a part of good design.

Sunway Pyramid is one of the beautiful shopping mall in Malaysia and my favorite shopping mall. That’s why I have chosen this mall to get an idea about the information center and information kiosk, like how are the designs, position, shape, color, legibility of reading information etc. based on the architectural design of the shopping mall. INFORMATION CENTER OF SUNWAY PYRAMID: Information center of this mall is very attractive and colorful. As we can see in the picture, the position, shape, color combinations are perfectly matched with the internal design of the mall. Actually Upper and side light designs make the front desk more beautiful. I like the design and color combination of the information desk.
